What to send for a useful quotation
A slab enquiry is a request for fabrication stock, not a finished cutting list. Tell Qijia Stone what you plan to cut from the slabs, the minimum usable dimensions and the required finish. This helps distinguish a suitable slab selection from a quotation for finished panels or countertops.
Usable size and thickness
State length, width, thickness and units, plus slab count or the required area. Distinguish the overall slab size from the usable cutting area. Identify any large pieces that must be cut in one piece.
Batch appearance and surface
Include a material reference and the finish required on each face. For colour-sensitive work, review several proposed slabs together and identify which pieces need to match. A small catalogue photograph cannot define the appearance of a full slab.
Handling and delivery scope
Give the destination and your unloading or handling constraints. Ask the quotation to state packing, slab identification, inspection requirements and which transport charges are included. Confirm available sizes and quantities for the proposed order.
Questions before you specify this range
Should I request slabs or cut-to-size panels?
Request slabs when your fabricator will plan and cut the finished pieces. If you already need numbered pieces at finished dimensions, use the project-panel range and send the cutting schedule. Make clear which cutting and finishing operations belong in the quotation.
Is the total square-metre quantity enough for a slab quote?
No. Also give thickness, minimum usable slab sizes, finish and the largest intended cut pieces. The same total area can represent very different cutting requirements. Agree how the supplied area and usable dimensions will be recorded before confirming the order.
